Keep the engine running!!!
This struck a chord for me! And I want you to sit with it as I ask you to challenge yourself when you walk through our doors. WE HAVE TO BUILD MUSCLE. This should not be read that we are going to bulk up and get shredded (as some of you may be concerned about that 😂). It should be read that I want you to challenge yourself when you are choosing your weights in a workout. It is ok if you need to rest more because you go heavier. I will let you know if it is supposed to be a light workout. The thing is... if we don't achieve a level of resistance, heavier weight, then we don't build muscle. There should be a struggle. Some of us are so programmed to choose the easy way. The doable. I challenge you to do things that make you a little leery of the struggle you will meet.
Muscle makes life better. It will make you more capable. It will eat up the calories you consume. It will make you FEEL better. And most would say, it doesn't look too shabby either.
We are combining the muscle building WITH the cardio in most of our Zone 2's... Don't see what you can get away with doing, see what you are capable of doing.
